Employment tribunals (unfair/wrongful dismissal):

An initial face to face consultation with Catteralls Solicitors start from as little as £75.00 + VAT, this fee includes a review of any relevant documentation and will provide you with the an understanding of the merits of your case and the next steps that are to be taken.

Each case is assessed on its own merits and dependant on the risk of taking your case to an Employment Tribunal; we may be able to offer you a Conditional Fee Agreement / Damages Based Agreement starting from as little as 5%. This essentially means, if you win your case, a percentage of your damages will be payable to Catteralls Solicitors for running the case on a No Win No Fee basis. There will be nothing for you to pay upfront, should a CFA or DBA be proposed as the best option for your case.

In absence of a Conditional Fee Agreement or Damages Based Agreement, the average cost of running a employment claim from start to finish could be in the region of £500.00 to £1,500.00. This fee does not include any fees that may be payable should a Barrister or QC be required to represent / advise on your case.

Debt recovery (up to £100,000):

 The following table outlines the fixed fees payable in person and commercial debt recovery matters. This fixed fee service includes; an initial meeting with the Catteralls Solicitors, letter before action to the Defendant and any response following this letter. Should the Defendant fail to respond, the costs include the issue fee (the process of making the court aware of your claim) and the entering of judgement (if applicable).

It is important to note that the above costs do not include litigation (other than a Request for Judgement) once the claim has been Issued and does not include enforcement of proceedings or the drafting of a compromise agreement and should the same be necessary, the matter will move to an hourly billed amount if the aforementioned occurs / proves necessary.
